Sverige har haft en lag emot omsk?relsen sedan 1982. 1999 sk?rptes straffsatserna och ingreppet kallas k?nsstympning. Numera kan man ocks? straffa den som l?ter g?ra ingreppet i ett annat land, oavsett hur det landets lagstiftning ser ut. Lagen har ?nnu aldrig lett till att n?gon straffats i Sverige.
RISK utbildar informat?rer som arbetar i invandrart?ta f?rorter f?r att sprida information p? det egna spr?ket. De arbetar inom familjecentraler, ?ppna f?rskolor, m?dra- och barnav?rdscentraler liksom via sina egna f?reningar. Inom RISK genomf?rs ?vers?ttningar av informationsmaterial till olika afrikanska spr?k. RISK har?lokala grupper?runt om i landet, G?teborg, Karlstad, Nyk?ping, Stockholm, Uppsala, Ume? och V?xj?.
RISK deltar i ett nationellt ?vergripande arbete kring den kvinnliga k?nsstympningen bl.a. genom ett n?tverk som vi tagit initiativ till. RISK deltar i m?ten och konferenser inom landet som har med k?nsstympning och angr?nsande ?mnen och organiserar ocks? egna seminarier, ibland i samarbete med andra organisationer. Press och media bevakar denna fr?ga och har ofta artiklar i ?mnet. Ett ?kande antal elever i olika utbildningar g?r uppsatser och specialarbeten om KKS och RISK hj?lper till med information.

We campaign to eliminate ‘honour’-based abuse and harmful practices and provide life-saving services to those at risk, regardless of age, culture, sexuality or gender.
Established in 2010, we are a leading charity tackling culturally-specific abuse in the UK, including forced marriage and female genital mutilation. We advocate for those who need a voice and offer a completely confidential and non-judgemental service.
SUPPORTING SURVIVORS
Since launching our one-to-one service in 2017, we have supported hundreds of clients out of abusive environments into their Savera – meaning ‘new beginning’.
We help survivors of ‘honour’-based abuse and harmful practices to rebuild their lives. By providing emotional and practical support, we help them to gain economic independence and move forward into their future with confidence.
CHALLENGING HARMFUL ATTITUDES & PRACTICES
We don’t just address the effects of ‘honour’-based abuse and harmful practices. We tackle the causes as well.
We speak out to challenge harmful attitudes, prejudice and practices that violate individual human rights and educate and empower others so they can join our fight.
We contribute to research, provide consultancy and deliver training to raise awareness of harmful practices and their signs among people outside of at-risk communities. We also campaign to encourage everyone – as well as specific affected communities – to recognise and report instances of ‘honour’ based violence and abuse.

FOUNDED AS A RESPONSE TO THE TRAGIC MURDER OF VALERIE FORDE AND HER 22-MONTH OLD DAUGHTER 'BABY RJ’ WERE BY VALERIE'S EX-PARTNER (AND BABY RJ'S FATHER) IN 2014. THIS CATASTROPHIC EVENT HIGHLIGHTED THE NEED FOR AN ORGANISATION TO TACKLE DOMESTIC ABUSE IN AFRICAN HERITAGE FAMILIES AND WAS THE CATALYST FOR THE CREATION OF SISTAH SPACE.
THROUGH THEIR EXPERTISE IN PROVIDING SUPPORT AROUND DOMESTIC & SEXUAL ABUSE, SISTAH SPACE ADDRESSES THE SPECIFIC NEEDS OF AFRICAN & CARIBBEAN HERITAGE SURVIVORS OF ABUSE BY TACKLING THE INTERSECTIONALITY OF RACISM AND GENDER BASED VIOLENCE.
SOLACE SG is a voluntary group working to improve the quality of life for people living with Sickle Cell and Thalassemia. You can help us by attending our monthly gatherings and becoming a member.
SOLACE?s main objective is to improve the quality of life of those patients living with sickle cell and Thalassemia in Hackney, not excluding every patient attending sickle cell services at the Homerton hospital from other boroughs.
We believe in a holistic approach to the care and management of sickle cell with specific focus on improving quality of life (QoL).
SOLACE was found in early 2016 after the transformation of the existing patient support group which had existed for some years. Sickle cell patients locally, voted to appoint new members of the Board in 2016 in a view to transform the objectives of the group.
The new leadership has focused on building on the legacy of supporting and advocating for patients living with sickle cell in Hackney.

We are a group of black and minority women with years of experience of struggling for women?s human rights in the UK. Although based locally, our work has a national reach.
Southall Black Sisters, a not-for-profit, secular and inclusive organisation, was established in 1979 to meet the needs of Black (Asian and African-Caribbean) women. Our aims are to highlight and challenge all forms gender related violence against women, empower them to gain more control over their lives; live without fear of violence and assert their human rights to justice, equality and freedom.
For more than three decades we have been at the forefront of challenging domestic and gender ? related violence locally and nationally, and have campaigned for the provision of proper and accountable support services to enable women and their children to escape violent relationships and live in dignity.
We run an advice, advocacy and resource centre in West London which provides a comprehensive service to women experiencing violence and abuse and other forms of inequality. We offer specialist advice, information, casework, advocacy, counselling and self-help support services in several community languages, especially South Asian languages. Whilst our focus is on the needs of black and minority women, we will not turn any woman away who needs emergency help.

The main focus of our work is with the help of affected women and the protection of girls from the mutilation of their genitals.?We carry out projects in Germany and in the Somalian region of Puntland.?In North Rhine-Westphalia, we have the only counseling center for women and girls who are affected or threatened by genital dissection.?We go to the schools and clarify to young people about the topic of female genital circumcision.?We also organize apprenticeships for educational, medical and legal specialists in order to inform and raise awareness.?In Somalia, we are building a women's clinic and conducting reconnaissance campaigns, re-training of female mothers and a school project for refugee children.

The African Diaspora Youth Forum in Europe (ADYFE) is a platform of nearly? 110 youth organizations of the African Diaspora present in 31 countries of the Council of Europe. One of ADYFE?s main purpose is Peace and Development in all its forms. We aim to achieve this through the 3 pillars of action: Entrepreneurship, Employability, and Civic Engagement.
ADYFE has been since 2014, one of the main interlocutors consulted on policies and high-level exchanges relating to the youth as a whole, and particularly, youth from the African Diaspora to the European Union and the African Union and their various institutions as well as many UN agencies.
